Sunday drive

The days of the week do retain some meaning, despite the subjectively infinite lockdown, primarily due to work, of course. Still Sunday retains a flavour of its own.

Normally, I would go for a run - although I didn't this morning because of an irritating (but minor) issue with my right foot - and do my radio show, which I did do, foot complaint notwithstanding.

We did get out for a lunchtime drive, though, travelling south of and roughly parallel to the A65, skirting the top of the Forest of Bowland. Dan's driving is good now. He's still reassuringly vigilant regarding the road and his surroundings, but I can relax enough to look out of the window.
