Sieze the moment
Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.
If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. (Ecc. 11:4, NLT)
After a rainy start to the day, it was nice to see the sun break through. But just as I was about to go for a walk, I could see more clouds approaching. And then I was waiting for a phone call. And then it got more cloudy. So I never did go for my walk.
But I did manage to sieze the moment and dash into the garden to capture the lilac tree, sun-lit against the dark clouds, always a lovely sight.
And acknowledgments to my boss for pointing out the quote; it's a good job I'm not a farmer!
