Percy Pigeon

I was intending to take a more interesting shot today, but somehow the day and the light got away from me.  This is the only shot that I took all day.  A monopod that I'd ordered a while ago arrived today and this shot was taken in the back garden as I was checking that everything worked properly and that I would be able to use it in the real world without accidentally having the camera fall off it or similar.  The monopod seems fine, as you can see from the 1/60th shutter speed with a heavy lens.  I'm not so sure about the choice of subject matter but beggars can't be choosers!
