Lake sun

It’s been a tough week all round so the less said about that the better. I had a days holiday booked for today and apart from dialling into a work call at lunchtime I’ve had the day to relax. I had a good long sleep to start it off well! I needed that.

After lunch the sun was out so my husband and I set off for a walk to Heath Lake. It’s very muddy underfoot as we’ve had so much rain this week but we managed to get around choosing our path carefully. It was lovely to see the sun and the birds were certainly enjoying it too.

This afternoon I have done some flute practice ahead of my lesson tomorrow. I’m looking forward to pizza night !
