Playing a waiting game

Playing a waiting game.
Been spending the day taking photos of flowers on my lightbox, some success, or at least I like them. I had put a Yellow Lily in this vase to photograph as I thought the bule water would compliment the yellow petals. After I finished I was about to throw the water away and a thought struck me. 'Why Don't I try staining the ends of the petals' It probably has a scientific name. See how long it takes. The yellow lily is now buried in fine silica gel to dry out. Excited to see how that turns out too.
