Light industrial
Keeping up with daily blips is improving my knowledge of the area. I've passed this place many times, but until today just filed it under 'chimneys and smoke'. Here is their version: 'The history of the company dates back to 1797 when our founder, Charles Tennant, a Scottish weaver, invented bleaching powder by passing chlorine gas over slaked lime. This revolutionized the bleaching of cloth and as a result, the entire textile industry.' Nice to know!
