Finished at last!

As requested, a blip of the finished blanket. I now have two ready to take to my friend, who will arrange for them to be sent to Romania. The first one is knitted and I now have to decide what to do for the next one!

Went to 'The Stables' last night to see the Kenny Ball Jazz Band. Had a phone call from the theatre during the day to say that Kenny Ball was in hospital and that his son would be fronting the band. The trumpet player from Chris Barber's band played and Kenny's son sang.
He said his father is seriously ill and thanked everyone for still coming. It was a fantastic evening and a standing ovation at the end.
