Southampton old cemetery

I paid a visit to Southampton Old Cemetery today. As the name implies it is a very old cemetery, it was opened in 1846 and was seen as the first municipal cemetery in England. It’s a fascinating place. I’ve been on a few guided tours in the past. There are a number of headstones (60 in fact) to people lost in the Titanic, although no bodies were returned to Southampton.
