Ready

At this time of year I'm champing at the bit to get started on the gardening - seeds to sow, pots to wash, new shrubs to plant. I've got cuttings of a beautiful lilac from a neighbours garden, I'm hoping they've survived the frosty winter we're having. Any extra plants from the garden are given away in exchange for donations to Alzheimer's Research UK, I leave them outside with an honesty box. It's turned into quite a big deal with people bringing plants for me to sell and I think I'm known locally as "the plant lady"! I raised £1800 last summer which was amazing. I'm so ready for spring - bring it on!
