Reach for the sky!

My mom got this little plant from Lidl and it's doing really well. It's quite amazing watching it grow towards the sun no matter what direction it's facing - plants are just incredible.

Quite a quiet day today. Took a cycle to Victoria Road and did a big shop - I managed to get it all into my messenger bag but nearly broke me back getting home! Spent the afternoon watching a few lectures then went out for a walk in Linn Park as the sun was going down. The weather made for quite an atmospheric day - very foggy with loads of drizzle, so it was super cool to be out in the woods.

Not much else to report, to be honest. We baked a big chocolate cake last night, as apparently yesterday was World Chocolate Cake Day (or so my mom says - she might have been just hoping for a treat!) We'll see how long it lasts - I reckon it won't make it to the weekend ;)
