Head in the clouds

Today wasn't good at all.  There wasn't enough rain to wash away the snow and ice, which made our walk to the town centre difficult   And if that wasn't bad enough it was a wasted journey.  I had Googled the bank opening times and was told 9.30am to 4.30pm.  Arrived at bank around 3.30 to be told by staff monitoring the cash machine that the opening hours during lockdown were 10am to 2pm  and that Google had not updated their information.  The transactions I needed to complete could not be done on the cash machine so we'll need to return tomorrow.  It was now about 4pm as we walked along this road and saw the single lighted window in the high rise block of flats so of course that had to be my blip for today.
