Toddler energy
Late blip today.
7.45pm. Post children’s teatime and pre adult dinner.
In this photo our 22 month old granddaughter is being watched by her dad, our son. She is never still! Toddler energy could run a power station!
I can assure you that the knife which can be seen on the work top was quickly removed so little fingers couldn’t reach it at all.
The other 3 grandchildren were getting ready for bed.
They all arrived at 2.00pm after a thankfully uneventful journey.
Since then it has been non-stop.
Libby will be 8 on Saturday, and had already had a Zoom party with some of her friends yesterday at home.
What a world!
They played Bingo, Pass the Parcel, and had a Treasure hunt game, enjoying seeing each other albeit virtually.
It wasn’t long before the train set came out. I had a game of Jenga with Sammy. Then I videoed him knocking it down, after he’d built a tower and stood some of the bricks alongside it in a row, in slo-mo on my iPhone. We both enjoyed the replay!
Toby and Libby were playing an imaginary game together using the train set and other accoutrements.
Bonnie loves the stacker beakers which fit inside each other one by one. Some things never change! Timeless pastimes...........
It’s now 21.45 and I got sidetracked before finishing this blip.
So I’ll stop here and be back once more in the morning.
Time for bed!
