Maungawera Valley

What a special day of doing wonderful things- I feel so spoilt.
Coffee with my Photography group this morning; 9 holes of golf with Jill and another friend this afternoon, then this evening a delicious dinner with friends who live on a farm in the Maungawera Valley - about 20 minutes out of Wanaka.
They have a stunning garden, which you can see in the foreground of this photo. Mt Gold is behind the sunlit  hill in front. While we were there tonight, there was a fresh dusting of snow on the mountains. NZ summer!
