Dove

Someone forgot to tell the weather gods that it is supposed to be summer here in Sydney. My walk this morning was cool, wet and v windy. The day continued the same, and more is forecast. 
The new school year starts this week and maybe it is good that the children do not feel they are missing out on good weather.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that the Covid free environment continues as we are booked to go to Lord Howe island next Friday.....and it is beginning to look as if the trip may go ahead. 
(This was booked pre Covid....who Kew...???)
I spotted this spotted dove early this morning looking rather forlorn in the very damp weather.
