Happy birthday Vas

Joined the girls for a lunch at a new restaurant. We sat outside and felt very safe there. I guess having a little bubble makes such a big difference. 3 of the 5 have also had both their jabs and I am waiting for my second and Kath is on the list to get hers. Hers has been delayed because of surgery. We are very lucky being in Bahrain

Corona Virus Update
Bahrain recorded 459 new cases, 1 fatality and 245 recoveries today
Not good at all.  Action needs to be taken again.

Global coronavirus cases surpassed 100 million on Wednesday, according to a Reuters tally, as countries around the world struggle with new virus variants and vaccine shortfalls.
One person has been infected every 7.7 seconds, on average, since the start of the year. Around 668,250 cases have been reported each day over the same period, and the global fatality rate stands at 2.15%.

It took the world 11 months to record the first 50 million cases of the pandemic, compared to just three months for cases to double to 100 million.
Almost 1.3% of the world’s population has now been infected with Covid-19,  and more than 2.1 million people have died.

Australia records 10th day of no local Covid-19 cases.  
Australia has recorded more than 22,000 local cases since the pandemic began and 909 deaths.
