Loch of Collaster and Langhill

Reports of -9 degrees last night, and really didn't feel much warmer today.  A gentle breeze today, and mostly sunny, with some wintery showers in the afternoon.  Clear skies tonight, and flat calm.

Slept a bit longer than planned, but on holiday for the rest of this week.  Spent the morning puttering about the house.  Met friend Julie for walkies this afternoon, and also mam too.  More walkies with Sammy this evening.  Feet up by the fire now.  No new cases of Coronavirus here today.  We are winning, slowly, but we did it before, we can do it again.

I've never been this far west in the snow before, so it was lovely to have a walk with the scenery looking completely different.  As usual, croft houses always grab my attention, but so did the frozen loch.  Not just the lochs freezing, parts of the sea has frozen too, in gentle voes and inlets.  This is looking to the Loch of Collaster, and the Langhill croft, Sandness.
