2019-05-12 (Day 132) Monklands Half Marathon

After the show yesterday, this morning saw an early rise and a drive down to Coatbridge to take part in the Monklands Half Marathon.

Conditions were beautiful for this under-appreciated race which goes round the beautiful Drumpellier Park and the surrounding area, and was a great race to do. Time was a little slower than the Stirling Half, at 1:42:54 - but I'm going to put that down to the excessive temperatures - it reached 13C in the shade! (very little of the race was in the shade).
