The Phoenix Rises

Mum's painting

The worry of what today would bring had me up early. Breakfast, dog walked and showered before 0800.
I headed south to DC to appraise  her condition.  I had been coached by Dr. bro no.3 as to what to test her on. I took my BP machine and tympanic thermometer and pretended to be Dr.no.4.
Most things were negative which led me to the conclusion it was toxicity  from another  UTI. Unfortunately  I weighed her and realised she is literally  fading away. Nurse Sheila got on her nursery hat and cajoled her to eat and drink. Limited success, but eventually  managed to get the required specimen and spoke to friend Mum's  Dr.
Antibiotics  started before bed and Fortifed drinks to get her strength back.
Family pow wow is difficult, but we all have shared and Big W will go vist tomorrow.
She will be 92 in April, I sincerely  hope.

As aye

PS. Painting was a present  from me a few years ago of her favourite  place. It gave me something to look at while she dozed.
