Light in the Darkness
Today I was honoured to take part in a Holocaust Memorial Service in my home town, via zoom, where I played Eli Eli on my cello.
The ceremony was arranged and presented so beautifully by a friend of mine, who asked me to play, and I was honoured to be a part of it. Eli Eli was originally a choral piece and written by a Holocaust victim who died aged 23. The theme of the ceremony was Light in the Darkness and remembered not only those who died then, but also those in more recent years and in the current pandemic.
It was lovely to know that two blip friends joined the ceremony also, Honeycombebeach and Random_Angel. Thank you for being there supporting the event and supporting me...
