Nice fresh ice

This is ice from the surface of Gurnal Dubs, and you will have to imagine me standing in my wetsuit in the water and holding this up to the light, just for a blip.  Actually it was a great experience splashing through the thin ice, having walked there in mist but then sitting in the sunshine contemplating life.
