DAY AFTER THE STORM
This is the LaBudde Creek and it runs along the west side of Road America. It's a trout stream with naturally reproducing Brook Trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) as the main predator species. It isn't a "true" trout but rather ones of the chars. IMHO, it's the most beautiful of the salmonids, especially the males in their breeding colors. Check the link for photos; but be careful, there's the odd Brown Trout photo among them...you can tell the brookies by the white edges on their pectoral and pelvic fins:
