WELCOME SWALLOW (hirundo Tahitica)

I might have handled this bird - its one of the ones I photographed earlier in the nest under the outlet on the Causeway. You might recall I got under the bridge and had a close encounter with 6 little ones in their nest. I dont often handle them but I do keep birds myself and know they quite like the contact - the parents werent around at the time. This is one of the off-spring so its exciting to see them out and about . there were about 4 of them doing their winged thing today
