How the years pass

This is a favorite picture of mine of one of my closest friends, L. This was back in the early 1980's when she adopted these adorable kittens, Gabby and Gump.  I keep this picture on my desk and always like seeing her so young and, of course, the kitties, who are long gone.  I thought I'd post this picture today because she's going in for some surgery tomorrow and I'm worried about her.  So this will put her in your thoughts as well and hopefully send some positive thoughts her way.
