Can of worms

I should have photographed the message on my camera's screen screaming 'battery empty, battery empty, third time in a fortnight, battery empty, you effin numpty' to make up for this morning's kingfisher sitting on a branch or the goosander that came up from a dive with a fish in it's gob or the monkey in a clown suit on a scooter, none of which I photographed with my empty batteried camera.
