Burns & Barns

A full day without a gap so I took a garden blip before it started getting dark.

We did have a haggis supper though, in honour of Burns Night and in appreciation of the Scots in our newly extended family.

But the day had its worry as it became clear to LongLegs that he had another pneumothorax so he went to the doctors, who sent him to one hospital who transferred him by ambulance to another hospital. After tests and waits, he was sent home to return tomorrow. Poor chap. He sent a picture of him with an O2 mask on, and all I could think was “oh no, not again!”

When he had surgery when he was 17 (6 years ago), the consultant said that there was a 20 per cent chance he’d have a pneumothorax in the other lung. At the time, LongLegs laughed and said that he probably would then. And he has.
