Acrylic wool hand warmers

The month seems to have galloped by and it is very cold here in Rishton, but no frost, ice or snow.
I have been crocheting these hand warmers.
A normal homely day indoors with Arthur our cat.
I learnt from Google that a solution of water with baking soda can stop white mould on Gardenia leaves. It is a work in progress and I hope it works. Any other good ideas would be appreciated.
