Guardian Angel

Another not too bad a night......heard lots of very hard windscreen scrapping just before 8am. I heard the rain around 6ish, so it must have frozen very quickly. Daughter said it was -2 around 7 this morning, when she went shopping!

We didnt properly wake until after 9 and didnt get downstairs until approaching 11..... but its been a grey very damp and cold day so who cares ;-) Hubs fav District Nurse came for his last jab....which he was happy about!

Not a lot done today.....a change of bed linen, a washer losd of laundry done, a bed remake, lunch was eggs. Cheese ham onion omlette with bread & buter for hub and poached eggs on toasted crumpets for me. Hubs been ok today, but we sense the slump that follows his chemo is approaching.....but so far so good.

We popped out in the car mid afternoon to collect our groceries from daughters, got us out for a while......we came home via Costa.
Sat in the car, drinking our coffee, hub had a lemon muffin which he did share, in the pouring rain, chatting away....sounds a bit grim, but it was a nice change of scenery. Its good to get out of the house, no matter how or where!

Back home, groceries away, hub did a few laps of the kitchen island whilst I was putting things away. We decided on pork steak, chips for hub, jacket for me, with baked beans for dinner this evening......I can smell the pork as Im typing this!

Its not often I take part in Tiny Tuesday, but as my blip today is one of the two tiny angel keyrings I made reference two a few days back, that one of our lovely neighbours posted through our front door with a sweet note saying that they sent these to guard and guide us whilst we are on this journey <3

Marcella back on tv tonight, lets see if we can concentrate on it enough to enjoy it?!! Not something we have been very good at lately :-/

A sad milestone reached today in terms of lives lost ........keep on taking extra care out there folks!
