Trees

After a bad night's sleep, I've spent most of my day reading Deleuze & Guattari's masterpiece "A Thousand Plateaus". Tomorrow is the second meeting of a D&G study group I've been organizing together with a fellow grad student here at UTA.

Later during the day I had a short walk with my friend Brian and we discussed the trees on campus. Brian could recognize magnolia and live oak, I recognized zero trees. Deleuze & Guattari wish to move away from the tree metaphor in philosophy, in favour for the rhizome. I will however continue to become-with trees!
