Warning: Snowstorm in Progress
Last night there was a constant banner across the bottom of the TV screen warning about the impending snowstorm. Those floating banners across the screen just drive me nuts, as after the 5th time it's like, "Okay, we get it! Enough Already"! I probably say this every winter, but we live in Wisconsin......it snows....& usually a lot. So why do the weather people feel the need to talk it up like it's Armageddon? The majority of people have 4 wheel drive, the city is always quick to plow, we've all got snow blowers & shovels, so it's not like we'll be snowed in for weeks! The wind has been pretty fierce out of the North, so it's causing some drifting, but that too is to be expected, & it's not nearly as bad as they were predicting. In fact, it's really pretty although I personally prefer the big, beautiful, fluffy kind of flakes over the small driving ones--but then, no one asked for my opinion. LOL. In a follow up to yesterday, no sooner had I put my blip in about thinking Tom should have been transfused, than one of the nurses called from the clinic, saying they'd called the Dr. about the low hemoglobin and he'd ordered a unit of blood for Tom to get today right after his chemo. Great follow through by the nurse! I'll put this in for TinyTuesday, as there are millions of tiny snowflakes in this picture, and thanks to Loisbiz for hosting this month!
