2018-07-25 (Day 206) Union Canal

I had to put the car in for service today, with the garage being near Newbridge Roundabout. That wasn't far from the Union Canal, and the canal in turn runs close to my office - so I put the bike in the car and cycled back to the office when the car was being worked on.

That of course mant I had to cycle back to get the car, and it was on that afternoon journey that I took this photo.

The beautiful flowers are in places rather ovrgrowing the towpath - though not here. And in the distance, you can see the bright supporting cables for the Queensferry crossing.

The weather today was beautiful - hope it continues!
