Rainy afternoon
I was the reading on the sofa (the last book in Gillian Galbraith’s Alice Rice series) when I happened to look up and saw the great spotted woodpecker on the tree outside. I had time to get something of a shot which is the extra blip today. Although it was raining there was quite a bit of activity and I was pleased to get this shot of a long tailed tit with its distinctive bits of pale pink and of course a tail that is as least as long as the body.
I am thinking that the yoga dog was a motivational tactic because on day 7 of the 30 day challenge he was absent for the third consecutive day. It so then it’s working because for the first time I was more interested in the practice than wondering about the absent dog, except in retrospect. I need to improve my version of a side plank, especially on the right side.
Annoyingly M&S no longer provide return labels – you have to print one out, assuming you have a working printer. This necessitated a trip to the local shopping centre just under 2 miles away where the only stores open where Marks and Spencer and a couple of the high street chemists. I quite enjoyed the thrill of the trip wearing my recently acquired upgraded mask and came home with a selection of considerably reduced goodies including vegan streaky bacon. This is almost worth a blip, it looks positively lurid with a generous amount of ‘fat’, curious to try it in a roll tomorrow.
