In the woods....

the snow cover has started to reduce, but it is just as thick in the open. Quite good walking, although have to take care, of course. This is the wee waterfall above the flower meadow. Often hear shrieks of laughter at this point, as the local children have a rope swing in the trees and it is very popular. They swing quite a height as the tree is above the slope. A local man keeps a safety check on the state of the rope.
Met my 97 year old friend climbing up to the viewpoint, saying what good walking lately! He is a great guy!
Lots of Woodpecker activity again and the bird song increasing.
