Rattled

It just came to me: I am rattled. It'd been so very, very nice, good, and natural, these weeks of getting rid of an awful, harmful president. I'd read complete news articles; I'd scan headlines with a wave of relief rather than flinching. But it looks like it is to be short-lived. Not sure how I'm going to get through the upcoming trial and the slow chipping away at the pandemic. Can't we have more time between onslaughts. I guess I'll stay busy with things I enjoy and people I like, and put aside the devices more often.
