Ice on the Canal

With the ground still firm with frost but not slippery I ventured a further lock down the canal today. 
With further work being carried out today the water levels should soon be restored and be maintained.
It is now (mid afternoon) raining which will speed up the refilling of the canal, thaw the ice and leave me a little less sure about making it three locks tomorrow :(
