Project 365 day 25: cloudless sky and crispy snow
The sky this morning was perfectly clear, vivid blue. A light covering of overnight snow had frozen crisp, and as the sun began to melt it on the roof and Velux windows with bizarre crackling noises.
The roads and footpaths were treacherously icy, so I spent a bit of time before lunch wandering round the garden and orchard, looking at the patterns the remaining patches of snow formed on the ground, emphasising textures and contours and modifying the colours of fields and hillsides. The extra is a view up onto the hillside from the bottom of the orchard.
