Sun and snow

With a perfect forecast it was the day for a long, long walk. So I was out all day, enjoying the snow as a welcome change from mud! It transforms the landscape. Amongst other things I saw a fox, several deer, plenty of red kites. And a dog being carried in the arms of its owner after its fur had so balled up with snow it had ground to a halt. Being Burns night I made tatties and neeps once I’d recovered on the sofa with a large vat of tea. Main pic is of the bridge over the A47 which I last featured before Xmas, walking home in the dark.
