Thornton Moor

Only a couple of miles up the road but an area I haven’t walked in before. I’ve driven past the parking area lots of times but have never stopped until today.
The sun was shining so I was only wearing a thin jacket and hoodie. As Sod’s law would have it, a snow squall arrived and the wind got up which left me bitterly cold.
I had only gone about half a mile as well but there appeared to be more squalls coming over so I did an about turn and returned to the car.
The next time I come, I will be properly clothed and will incorporate Ogden Water and/or Thornton reservoir into the walk.
