After the white comes the wet. Open ground becomes sodden for days. Pavements turn to gloss. Away from the sun, there is ice. Ambulance men call this FLOG weather because they get called out to elderly pedestrians Found Lying On Ground (with accidents in the home it is FLOFs - Found Lying On Floor). The most common injury is a FNOF (Fractured Neck Of Femur, or broken hip to you and me).

We managed to avoid falling over (although TSM gave it her best shot a couple of times). We got a few essentials and avoided people as best we could although to be fair more people are wearing masks everywhere. 

Mr T came to panel and insulate the inside of the garage roof. He always says he will come at 7.30 but turns up at 8.00. He works to BST (Builders Shortened Time). Nice job ‘though, as usual. Feels a lot more solid. Going to panel the lean-to next.

We did a bit of housework, had a fair amount of down time. A chilled day I would say. 

Lockdown has a long way to go yet. Apart from the day to day, you don’t feel like you can plan anything. It’s a bit of a SLOG (Sometimes Life Only Grinds) ...
