Geese

Today's the day ………………………. to follow your instincts

Can you see what it is yet?!

Well - it was just one of the waves of geese - that filled the air with their calls - as they flew in formation, back to the Solway coast at the end of the day.  There must have been hundreds and hundreds of geese in total - all just following some primeval instinct to fly in the most efficient way to get somewhere safe for the night.  It really was the most uplifting sight.

And then, this evening here at home, there was more instinctive behaviour going on.  It is after all, Burns Night - and there was a haggis that needed addressing ………………………!
