Have You Brought Food?

......... a beautiful sunny day with a clear blue sky ( even though it doesn’t look like it here, not sure why ), so I thought I would attempt to walk down to the small lake I found recently.
The deep snow across the fields was hard work to walk through but it made a change from sloshy mud ........... and I think every man and his uncle were also taking advantage of the better conditions as there were lots of people around which meant continual dodging to make space for each other.

I did eventually make it to the lake but it didn’t look as good as I had hoped so I opted for a blip of one of the sheep who live in the same field.

There is still lots of deep snow around and a hard frost tonight, so I guess it might be around for another day or so.
