A frustrating day (hours spent trying to sort out a phone problem, twice being told it was mine, but eventually shown to be the provider's) and a sad one (concerning news of a former work colleague, for whom I am the Executor.) 
The main is a former hotel in town, which for some years has been in various stages of renovation. I think there are now a few flats at the back, although I don't know what is to become of the frontage.
I couldn't get the angle I wanted as there was a big van in the way.
Extra: the return of the garden pied wagtail. I thought it had been lured away by a neighbour's bigger fat balls (I didn't like to ask) but happily it has come back.
