2018-02-06 (Day 037) Sheep Of The Binns

These sheep live in the grounds of the House Of The Binns - traditional home of the Dalyell family. Tam Dalyell, erstwhile MP for the area, is famous for having posed the West Lothian question - asking why Scots MPs should be free to vote on English matters when English MPs were not able to vote on matters devolved to a Scottish Parliament.

Anyway, these lands contain his ancestral home. What we can see here is a tower, built in 1829 - allegedly as a result of an after-dinner wager!
