Veggies

I’ve been feeling a bit disheartened with the garden. In one night I lost about 6 plants when the temp plummeted. I’m being brave and starting again. I get very sad when the plants die.

I decided we need a cold frame for me to chuck things in if it looks like being chilly again. So Mr Lif was on the case and one was duly fashioned! The other problem we have is in the summer. The heat is so intense some things need protection. So dual purpose - keep off the chill in winter, keep off the sun in summer.

So for the next few months, this will be where the veggies live. For now we have broccoli, cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, peas and a couple of strawberries. We’ll add some peppers and some butternut squash and see how all that fares!
