Furness Abbey

Not local but I had to go to Barrow for a Covid test before a minor hospital procedure. Furness Abbey is very close to Furness General Hospital and I forgot to take a picture of the Covid tests this way signs. Anyway a good opportunity to wander round the Abbey ( from outside the fence).
 
I asked why I could not have the test done locally in Kendal; there is big sign by the Town Hall for Covid 19 testing. . The reply was that if its done in Barrow by the NHS , Kendal hospital will have the result within 3 days. If I have it done in Kendal, part of the the national testing system,  they cannot rely on the results being done in 3 days and will have trouble tracing them
