2017-05-18 (Day 138) Three Forth Bridges
This is taken from my favourite local viewpoint, at the West Lothian Golf Club.
Normally I face the west. Out over Stirling and the Trossachs. But today I looked eastwards towards the Firth Of Forth, where the sun was shining on the new Forth Crossing.
Behind that, the Forth Road Bridge can be seen, almost dwarfed by the height of the towers of the new bridge. And beyond that, the mother of them all - the magnificent Forth Bridge, opened in 1890 to carry the railway line north from Edinburgh
