Dear Diary,

I have a thing for stained glass.  I received a beautiful large round one when I retired 11 years ago that hangs in my bed/sitting room.  This is the one in my studio that I had custom made by an artist in Portland, Maine over 15 years ago.  When I was in France I traveled to Chartres Cathedral just so I could see the amazing stained glass windows (and to walk the 1,000 year old labyrinth as well).  My studio window is lit from inside at night but in the day the sun makes it glow.  There is something about stained glass...
