Life's tangled skein

2017-04-21 (Day 111) Grangemouth Sunset

My favourite viewpoint, from the car park of the West Lothian Golf Club.

The spit of land poking out into the water is Grangemouth oil refinery. We then look further west north west towards Stirling and beyond.

The highest distant peak is, I think, Ben Ledi (about one-quarter in from the right hand edge of the picture). The peak further round to the left is probably Ben Venue.

Closer than that, Abbey Craig and the Wallace Monument can just be discerned (to the right of Ben Ledi). I think that the slight rise immediately below Ledi might be the escarpment on which Stirling itself is built, but I am open to other interpretations!
