2017-03-03 (Day 062) Cockleroy
This was supposed to be a Rave Run picture, but now I process it I rather wish I had taken a version of it without me in the picture. Or at very least, that I had checked the shutter speed...
Anyway, today's Rave Run picture is from the top of Cockleroy, a hill just to the south west of Linlithgow. We are looking towards the town, with its distinctive loch and Palace, and of course the crown of St Michael's Kirk.
The word Cockleroy apparently means "the hat of the kings". It's only 278m high, but it does offer superb views and is well worth the visit.
Also, it's very exposed to the wind. And can be very chilly. Believe me, I know.
