The Child came home from school the day before and told me there were soldiers sleeping in Year 3's classroom.
She likes the elections: Saturday the school is closed to prepare for voting; Sunday and Monday there is voting and counting; Tuesday there is "disinfestation" (yes, really, that's what they call it), which makes me think of them setting traps and poison out for unsuspecting voters who somehow got left behind.
