A few hours walking in Brussels

With the free raillwaypass, the gouvernement has provided us, i made another trip to Brussels. I try to discover the different departements of the city. This time i walked in the neighbourhood of the Basi lica of the sacred heart in Koekelberg. I have passed dozens of times in my youth and further on, but never visited the basilica. The basilica is still in use for the mass and also art exhibitions. I could enter the Basilica and attended the mass with mostly African people. It was a heart warming experience.
So after a short meal in one of the many" Doner kebabs" i set of to the central station through the neighbourhood of famous" Molenbeek".
Arriving at the central station i witnessed lot s of Police standing. I was informed that around 2AM a silent protest will take place in memorial of man who died of heart attack well detained. The protest was allowed for 45 min. I just did a few pics because this is a photographers opportunity
not for the violence but for the different characters. I took of home at 14.45 pm. Didn t want to watch maybe upcoming violence , which eventually did happen.
